We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with deep expertise in the Communications industry, specializing in Salesforce Communications Cloud /Vlocity and Salesforce Billing. This role will lead end-to-end solution design across BSS transformation programs, enabling scalable, high-performance, and integrated digital platforms across the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Define end-to-end architecture for Salesforce-led transformations covering Lead-to-Cash / Order-to-Cash / Trouble-to-Resolve processes.
- Architect solutions leveraging:
- Salesforce Communications Cloud /Vlocity
- Salesforce Billing
- Revenue Cloud / CPQ
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, scalability, performance, and security standards.
Communications Industry Expertise
- Lead domain-specific solutioning across telecom use cases:
- Product modeling (bundles, pricing, promotions)
- CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
- Order orchestration and decomposition
- Service provisioning and activation flows
- Billing, invoicing, taxation, and revenue recognition
- Design integrations with BSS/OSS systems (e.g., mediation, rating engines, network systems).
Salesforce Billing & Monetization
- Architect billing solutions including:
- Usage-based and subscription billing models
- Rating, charging, invoicing, and payments
- Proration, amendments, and contract lifecycle management
- Ensure seamless integration between CPQ, Order Management, and Billing systems.
Integration & Data Architecture
- Define integration patterns using APIs, middleware , and event-driven architectures.
- Ensure real-time and batch integrations across CRM, billing, ERP, and legacy systems.
- Design data models, data migration strategies, and master data management approaches.
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, and performance optimizations.
- Establish reusable frameworks, accelerators, and reference architectures.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with business and IT leadership to define roadmap and solution strategy.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture governance forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Salesforce architecture roles.
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce Communications Cloud / Salesforce Revenue Cloud
- Salesforce Billing
- Salesforce CPQ & Order Management
- Strong understanding of telecom domain:
- BSS/OSS architecture
- Order-to-Cash lifecycle
- Subscription and usage-based monetization models
- Proven experience designing large-scale, multi-system integrations.
Technical Expertise
- Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, APIs, integrations)
- Salesforce Communication Cloud / Revenue Cloud
- Billing concepts:
- Rating, invoicing, taxation, collections
- Integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware like MuleSoft)
- Cloud and microservices architecture (preferred)
