Role Overview
A Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and elegant end-to-end Salesforce solutions. They act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions leverage Salesforce capabilities while maintaining best practices and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Design comprehensive Salesforce solutions including data model, security, automation, integrations, and reporting.
- Prepare and present Solution Design Documents (SDD).
- Collaborate with Technical Architects, Developers, QA, and Business Analysts.
- Define and oversee data migration strategies.
- Assess system impacts, dependencies, and risks.
- Guide development teams to ensure solution alignment with best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and architecture review sessions.
Technical Skills
- Expertise across Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, CPQ).
- Mastery of declarative configuration (Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Security).
- Strong Salesforce data modeling and migration knowledge.
- Requirements gathering and business analysis.
- Understanding of UX and design best practices
Tools & Platforms
- Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, Confluence, Google Docs.
- Salesforce Setup, Flow Builder, Process Builder, Data Loader.
- Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides.
