Role Overview
A Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for translating complex business requirements into comprehensive and elegant Salesforce solutions. They act as a crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams, designing end-to-end solutions that leverage Salesforce's capabilities (declarative and programmatic) while considering integration points and user experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate solution designs effectively
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements from various stakeholders.
Design comprehensive end-to-end Salesforce solutions, including data model, security, process automation (Flow), and reporting.
Create detailed solution design documents (SDD) and present them to clients and internal teams.
Collaborate closely with Technical Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure feasibility and alignment.
Define data migration strategies and oversee data quality initiatives.
Recommend AppExchange products and third-party integrations to extend Salesforce functionality.
Conduct solution workshops, prototyping, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
Provide expert guidance on Salesforce best practices, governance, and release management.
Identify potential risks and challenges in solution design and propose mitigation strategies.
Support the sales process by contributing to proposals and demonstrating solution capabilities.
Technical Skills (Required)
Salesforce Clouds: Deep functional expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, CPQ).
Declarative Configuration: Mastery of Salesforce configuration tools (Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Security Model, Reports & Dashboards).
Data Modeling: Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, relationships, and data migration strategies.
Business Analysis: Proficient in requirements gathering, process mapping (AS-IS/TO-BE), and gap analysis.
User Experience (UX): Understanding of best practices for user interface design and user adoption.
Technical Skills (Desirable)
Integration Concepts: Basic understanding of API integrations (REST/SOAP) and middleware concepts.
Project Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Change Management: Knowledge of organizational change management principles for successful solution adoption.
Financial Services Cloud/Health Cloud: Specific industry cloud experience (desirable for relevant roles).
Data Analytics: Understanding of reporting and dashboarding best practices, potentially Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics).
Tools & Technologies (Desirable)
Documentation Tools: Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, Confluence, Google Docs.
Salesforce Configuration: Salesforce Setup, Flow Builder, Process Builder, Data Loader.
Presentation Tools: Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides.
Project Management Tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Trello
Soft Skills (Required)
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business processes and ability to align technology with business goals.
Requirements Elicitation: Exceptional skills in gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing complex business requirements.
Communication & Presentation: Excellent ability to articulate complex solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Soft Skills (Desirable)

Relevant Industry Experience
5-8+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting, with a strong emphasis on solution design and functional implementation.
Experience in leading multiple full lifecycle Salesforce implementations across various clouds.
Proven track record of successfully translating complex business problems into tangible Salesforce solutions
