Job Description

As a Salesforce Senior Frontend Developer, you'll be a vital part of our IT team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging and optimized user experiences within the Salesforce platform. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce Administrators, and other IT professionals to tailor Salesforce solutions, focusing on enhancing user interfaces and optimizing business processes to break down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

You will drive Salesforce frontend innovation and user experience by:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying custom Salesforce applications, with a strong emphasis on frontend components such as Visualforce pages, and Lightning Components.
  • Utilizing your strong skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools to build robust solutions.
  • Applying your strong understanding of Design Systems and UI/UX, including experience with Lightning components and systems like LIT or Stencil, to create intuitive interfaces.
  • Leveraging your knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance Salesforce frontend functionality.
  • Incorporating a basic understanding of Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components to enhance Salesforce functionality and meet business requirements.
  • Creating and managing Salesforce reports, dashboards, and automation processes (e.g., Process Builder, Flow) to support user needs.
  • Staying updated with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices related to frontend development.
  • Proposing and implementing improvements to enhance system performance, user experience, and business processes within the Salesforce environment.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues, including debugging and resolving code problems.
  • Collaborating with Salesforce support and development teams to address and resolve complex issues.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • A Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Salesforce development.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, its architecture, and its limitations.
  • Strong skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
  • Strong understanding of Design Systems and UI/UX, including practical experience with Lightning components and systems like LIT or Stencil.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Commerce Cloud B2B or B2C is highly preferred.
