Salesforce Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Security Specialist to lead the rapid remediation of security vulnerabilities recently identified by our Information Security team.. The ideal candidate will act as an extension of our IT team, bringing deep expertise in the Salesforce security architecture, code-level vulnerability resolution, and secure release management. They will be responsible for auditing the identified issues, developing a robust remediation plan, and executing the necessary fixes while adhering to our deployment best practices.

Required Skillset

Salesforce Security Architecture: Expert-level knowledge of the Salesforce security model, including Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD), Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Restriction Rules.

Code-Level Vulnerability Remediation: Proven ability to identify and resolve security issues within Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) (e.g., SOQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and data access/CRUD violations).

Platform Health & Patching: Experience proactively managing overall Salesforce security health, utilizing the Salesforce Health Check tool, and applying critical release updates and security patches.

Salesforce Shield Experience (Optional but Preferred): Familiarity with implementing and managing Salesforce Shield components such as Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring, and Field Audit Trail.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between the IT team and Infosec partners, translating security findings into actionable technical solutions.
