The R&D organization at ANSR MedTech is being built to support the development, testing, and long-term sustainment of complex, regulated products used at global scale.
This team plays a critical role in engineering excellence, product quality, and operational reliability, working closely with global R&D leaders to deliver against well-defined technical standards, quality systems, and product outcomes.
Unlike a traditional offshore or support model, R&D in India is designed to take on meaningful ownership across the product lifecycle, particularly in areas where scale, focus, and execution discipline are essential.

Job Summary:
The Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Salesforce platform solutions—including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud—meet defined business, quality, and compliance requirements through a combination of manual and automated testing.
This role partners closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Product Management, IT, and Business stakeholders throughout the Salesforce delivery lifecycle. The Salesforce QA Engineer establishes and executes quality engineering practices, reviews and approves test artifacts, and ensures risks, defects, and ambiguities are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
A key aspect of this role is the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce test automation, supporting scalable, repeatable, and reliable release validation.
Responsibilities:
Salesforce Quality Engineering & Governance:
- Serve as a Salesforce Quality Assurance and Automation SME, ensuring consistent testing standards across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Review and approve Salesforce requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity, completeness, and suitability for automation.
- Dene and apply QA standards, test strategies, and automation guidelines for Salesforce initiatives.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Product teams to optimize Salesforce testing and release quality processes.
Manual & Automated Test Design and Execution:
Design, review, and approve:
- Test plans and test strategies.
- Manual and automated test cases.
- Traceability matrices.
- Test execution and automation reports.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce clouds and integrations.
Develop and maintain automated Salesforce test suites to validate:
- Core business processes.
- Regression scenarios.
- Role-based security and data access.
- Experience Cloud user functionality.
- Ensure automation scripts are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce release cycles.
Test Automation Development & Maintenance:
- Build and enhance Salesforce test automation using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., UI, API, or platform-specific automation tools).
- Identify suitable candidates for automation and maintain a balanced manual vs automated test strategy.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD or scheduled execution pipelines where applicable.
- Analyze automation results, troubleshoot failures, and ensure alignment between automated and manual test coverage.
- Maintain automation documentation, standards, and best practices.
Release Support, Defect Management & Risk Mitigation:
- Support Salesforce release readiness and provide QA approval based on manual and automated test results.
- Identify quality risks related to configuration changes, integrations, and data impacts; recommend mitigation strategies.
- Log, track, prioritize, and validate defects; ensure timely closure and verification.
- Participate in root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
QA Process, Training & Continuous Improvement:
Develop and deliver training on:
- Salesforce QA processes.
- Automation frameworks and standards.
- Test data and environment usage.
- Maintain QA documentation, SOPs, templates, and automation guidelines.
- Support internal audits or quality reviews by providing test evidence and traceability.
- Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, automation effectiveness, and overall Salesforce quality.
Additional Duties:
- Support testing of Salesforce integrations, APIs, and AppExchange products.
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned to support business objectives.
Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related eld, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications or enterprise CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and maintaining test automation for business applications.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Strong working knowledge of:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
- Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience with:
- Automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Defect tracking and test management systems.
- Manual and automated regression testing.
- Ability to organize and maintain large sets of QA and automation artifacts.
- Proficiency with standard productivity and reporting tools.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to organize priorities, assess risk, and make quality decisions.
Experience with:
- Salesforce Flows and declarative automation.
- SOQL, test data preparation, and environment management.
- CI/CD integration for automated tests.
- API or integration testing is a plus.
- Salesforce Administrator or QA/Automation certifications preferred.
Physical / Other Requirements:
- Ability to support business needs during critical release cycles.
- Occasional flexible hours or travel may be required depending on project demands.
