Salesforce QA Test EngineerJob Overview
We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Salesforce QA Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our highly customized Salesforce platform. You will bridge the gap between traditional Salesforce testing and modern automation, leveraging Playwright (JavaScript) and cutting-edge AI-driven testing tools to build a robust, scalable automation framework.

Key Responsibilities1. Automation Framework Development
- Design, build, and maintain a scalable automation testing framework specifically optimized for Salesforce's dynamic UI using Playwright with JavaScript.
- Integrate automated test suites into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles.
2. Salesforce Customization Validation
- Thoroughly validate complex Salesforce configurations and deep customizations, including Apex triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and complex profile/role permissions.
- Execute end-to-end testing across various Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience) and handle asynchronous processes or third-party integrations.
3. AI-Driven Testing Innovation
- Implement and leverage AI-driven testing tools and LLM assistants to accelerate test case generation, automate self-healing scripts, and conduct intelligent impact analyses on Salesforce releases.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously optimize testing efficiency using generative AI.
4. Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner closely with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Product Owners to understand business logic and translate acceptance criteria into robust test cases.
- Document bugs clearly, track defect lifecycles, and provide comprehensive QA metrics and test execution reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Requirements
- Salesforce Expertise: Minimum of 3+ years of experience testing highly customized Salesforce environments. Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture (Objects, Fields, LWC, Apex, and standard vs. custom functionality).
- Automation Mastery: Proven experience writing automation scripts using Playwright and JavaScript. Comfort handling Salesforce's shadow DOM, dynamic IDs, and complex iframes.
- AI Testing Tools: Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of modern AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., Copilot for code generation, autonomous testing agents, or self-healing test platforms).
- API Testing: Proficient in testing Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman or automated scripts.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Experience working with Git and integrating test automation with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Copado, or Azure DevOps).
Soft Skills & Education
- Strong analytical mindset with an exceptional eye for detail when identifying edge cases in complex business workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder is a strong plus.
