Job Description

We are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of Salesforce applications across multiple Salesforce clouds. In this role, you will be responsible for validating business processes, testing platform configurations and customizations, and ensuring high-quality releases in Agile delivery environments.

You will work closely with developers, administrators, product owners, and business stakeholders to identify defects early, improve testing practices, and support successful Salesforce deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

  • Validate Salesforce configurations including workflows, flows, validation rules, and custom objects.

  • Work closely with developers, admins, and product teams to identify, document, and track defects.

  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in validating releases before production deployment.

  • Maintain test documentation, test data, and defect logs using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar QA tools.

  • Assist in integration testing and API validation where Salesforce interacts with other systems.



Requirements

Required Skills

  • 36 years of experience in QA/testing, with hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.

  • Good understanding of Salesforce platform features including objects, workflows, flows, and validation rules.

  • Experience performing functional, regression, and integration testing.

  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.

  • Understanding of API testing and basic integration testing concepts.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or similar Salesforce testing frameworks.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.

  • Basic knowledge of SOQL and Salesforce data models.
