About the role:
We are looking for a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in testing Salesforce applications and building automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Salesforce testing (Sales/Service Cloud) and test automation, with a solid understanding of CRM workflows and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom objects
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for Salesforce applications
- Validate Salesforce configurations such as workflows, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards
- Test integrations between Salesforce and external systems (APIs, middleware, third-party tools)
- Execute functional, regression, system, and UAT testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements
- Ensure test coverage across releases and provide quality sign-off
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and support test automation execution
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test reports
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in QA testing, with at least 3 years in Salesforce testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Experience in QA Automation tools such as:
- Selenium (preferred)
- TestNG / JUnit
- Provar / AccelQ (good to have)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model
- Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git
- Strong analytical and communication skills
