Job Title: Salesforce Project Manager

Experience: 10 15 Years

Location: Bangalore / Pune

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce CRM solutions across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will have strong techno-functional expertise in Salesforce, proven experience in Agile project delivery, and excellent stakeholder management skills. This role requires a balance of technical understanding, business acumen, and leadership to ensure successful Salesforce implementations aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead the full lifecycle of Salesforce implementation projects from initiation to go-live and post-deployment support.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee Agile/Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release cycles.
  • Ensure deliverables align with Salesforce best practices and meet business objectives.
  • Stakeholder & Client Management
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and Salesforce partners.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Manage client expectations, project updates, and governance meetings.
  • Drive user adoption, change management, and training initiatives.
  • Technical & Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce Architects, Developers, Administrators, and QA teams.
  • Oversee configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise platforms (ERP, middleware, analytics).
  • Validate solution design, perform quality reviews, and ensure technical excellence before deployment.
  • Governance & Reporting
  • Maintain project documentation including RAID logs, dashboards, and retrospectives.
  • Track and report on KPIs such as project timelines, defect rates, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide executive-level insights to leadership and steering committees.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of total experience in IT project or delivery management.
  • 4+ years managing Salesforce CRM projects (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
  • Hands-on understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model, and ecosystem.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Salesforce DevOps Center, or Copado.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201)
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud Consultant
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
