Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who can independently lead complex, multiworkstream technology programs with minimal oversight. This role requires a proven self-starter with strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and a relentless focus on delivery excellence. You will be responsible for owning projects end-to-end—setting direction, driving execution, managing stakeholders, and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget. This role is not for a coordinator; it is for a hands-on delivery leader who can run the show.
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Own and lead technical projects from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery against defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependency maps.
- Drive day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues; escalate decisively when required.
- Ensure end-to-end accountability for project outcomes and client commitments.
Program & Delivery Operations
- Maintain and actively manage:
- RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Issue trackers and action item logs
- Meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Lead sprint planning, execution, and delivery tracking (where Agile is applied).
- Measure and report team efficiency, velocity, and productivity; identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
Client Engagement & Executive Communication
- Serve as the primary client point of contact and trusted delivery partner.
- Demonstrate strong executive presence in client interactions, including steering committees and leadership reviews.
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and proactively—no surprises.
- Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure high client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Governance & Reporting
- Establish and enforce delivery governance frameworks.
- Prepare and deliver weekly and executive-level status reports covering:
- Overall project health
- Schedule, scope, and budget status
- Key risks, issues, and mitigation plans
- Track and report progress using clear KPIs and delivery metrics.
People & Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams in a high-performance delivery environment.
- Directly manage teams of 10–20 resources, including developers, analysts, and QA.
- Drive accountability, collaboration, and ownership across the team.
- Actively manage team capacity, performance, and morale.
Value Creation
- Continuously identify opportunities to deliver value-added services and improvements for clients.
- Contribute to delivery excellence, repeatable best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in technical project management.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi-tiered, multi-workstream technology projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong client-facing experience with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Strong governance, reporting, and delivery management skills.
- Prior experience managing and leading teams of 10–20 people.
- Experience managing end-to-end support and development projects.
Nice To Have Skills
- Comfort working in Salesforce-based delivery environments.
- Prior Salesforce project experience is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications are a plus but not required.
