As a Salesforce Platform Manager at Aspire, you will oversee the health, scalability, and release integrity of the Salesforce ecosystem. You will act as the primary custodian of Salesforce environments, ensuring production stability while enabling a modern, federated development and release strategy. You will lead CI/CD and release management practices using Copado, support Salesforce, Agentforce, and Data Cloud initiatives, and help establish a Center of Excellence to empower product teams to deploy safely and efficiently. This role requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and continuous learning across evolving Salesforce technologies.
What you'll do
- Own and manage the overall health, stability, and scalability of Salesforce environments.
- Design and implement a federated development and release strategy across Salesforce teams.
- Manage end-to-end Salesforce release cycles, including seasonal updates and continuous deployments.
- Lead CI/CD implementation and release orchestration using Copado.
- Ensure production stability and manage business-critical Salesforce environments.
- Define and improve environment management strategies and deployment processes.
- Support Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and other platform initiatives.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure safe and reliable code deployments.
- Translate complex technical release processes into clear, business-friendly roadmaps.
- Work with Salesforce support teams to resolve critical production issues.
- Establish and support a Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) for governance and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new Salesforce products and technologies.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and architectural standards.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Platform Management or Salesforce Architecture.
- Expert-level experience with Copado for CI/CD and release orchestration.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce multi-tenant architecture, governor limits, and environment management.
- Proven experience managing production Salesforce environments and business-critical systems.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and enterprise release strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce development components including custom objects, workflows, triggers, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning frameworks (Aura and/or LWC).
- Strong understanding of declarative and configuration-based Salesforce development.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in complex environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with enterprise-level support structures.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (ingestion, modeling, activation) is highly desirable.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Admin, or DevOps Lifecycle/Deployment Designer are a plus.
- Continuous learning mindset to adopt new Salesforce products such as Agentforce and emerging platform technologies.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
