Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE), defining standards, best practices, and delivery frameworks.
  • Oversee end-to-end Salesforce development activities across multiple programs and initiatives.
  • Act as the technical authority for Salesforce architecture, development patterns, and platform governance.
  • Design and review scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows, and integrations.
  • Ensure secure and compliant implementations by enforcing Salesforce security, data governance, and access control best practices.
  • Guide teams on Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration with external systems.
  • Drive adoption of Salesforce DevOps practices using tools such as Copado, Gearset, and SFDX.
  • Provide technical direction on authentication and identity patterns including SAML, SSO, and OAuth.
  • Support Agile delivery models and oversee execution across distributed Salesforce teams.
  • Partner with leadership, delivery, and practice teams to align technical execution with business goals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and platform architecture.
  • Proven experience leading Salesforce development teams and delivering complex enterprise implementations.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce development technologies including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, and data governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments with geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I (PD1) and Platform Developer II (PD2).
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud certifications.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales, solution design, and enterprise-scale delivery initiatives.
