About the role
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer with hands-on, end-to-end experience in Order Management System (OMS) implementations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Order Management, including order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, inventory management, and returns. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance order management solutions.
Key responsibilities
OMS design & development
- Design and develop end-to-end order management workflows covering order capture, routing, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
- Configure and customize Salesforce Order Management (SF OM) including order lifecycle, orchestration flows, and fulfillment rules.
- Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and queueable processes to support OMS business logic.
- Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) for order management dashboards and operational interfaces.
Integration & data management
- Integrate Salesforce OMS with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), WMS, 3PL providers, and payment gateways.
- Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations and event-driven architectures using Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC).
- Work with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica for system integrations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all integrated systems.
Commerce & omnichannel
- Collaborate with B2C Commerce / B2B Commerce teams for seamless omnichannel order experiences.
- Implement BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store), ship-from-store, and other omnichannel fulfillment models.
- Configure inventory availability, reservation logic, and sourcing rules for multi-warehouse scenarios.
DevOps & delivery
- Follow Salesforce DX (SFDX) best practices for source-driven development and version control.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins for deployment automation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain documentation in Confluence/JIRA.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization to ensure release quality.
Required qualifications
- 2–5 years of overall Salesforce development experience with at least 1+years specifically on Salesforce OMS / Order Management.
- Proficient in Apex (triggers, classes, batch processing), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Order Management Cloud or legacy Order Management modules.
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura framework.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, WMS, or third-party logistics platforms.
- Solid understanding of order lifecycle, inventory orchestration, RMA flows, and fulfillment logic.
- Experience with version control (Git/Bitbucket/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Active Salesforce certification: Platform Developer I (minimum required).
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) or B2B Commerce integrations.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or similar integration middleware.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Order Management with headless commerce architectures.
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer II, Order Management Specialist, or B2C Commerce Developer.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture using Kafka, AWS SQS, or Azure Service Bus.
- Experience in global OMS rollouts across multiple geographies and currencies.
