Role Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Media Cloud Functional Developer with 4+ years of Salesforce CRM implementation experience and 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Media Cloud or Communications Cloud. In this role, you will design, configure, and implement Salesforce solutions tailored to media and entertainment industry workflows, bridging business requirements and technical delivery while working closely with stakeholders, architects, and developers to drive successful CRM and revenue management outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into Salesforce Media Cloud functional designs and solution documentation
- Configure and implement Salesforce Media Cloud features including Order Management, Revenue Cloud, and advertising sales workflows
- Design and maintain data models, page layouts, flows, validation rules, and permission sets
- Lead and participate in workshops, sprint reviews, and stakeholder demos
- Support integration design between Salesforce and third-party media platforms (ad servers, traffic systems, billing systems)
- Conduct system testing (SIT/UAT) and support end-user acceptance testing
- Create functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with technical developers on Apex, LWC, and API-based customization
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of media industry processes: ad sales, order-to-cash, campaign management, audience targeting
- Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing)
- Experience with OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
- Familiarity with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and declarative automation tools
- Experience writing user stories, functional specs, and process documentation
- Strong facilitation and client-facing communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Media Cloud or Communications Cloud certification
- Experience with Vlocity/Industries product suite
- Exposure to agile/scrum delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of advertising ecosystem tools (FreeWheel, GAM, Wide Orbit) is a plus
- Experience with data migration and ETL processes
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Salesforce certifications are strongly preferred and will be validated during the hiring process
