Job Description

At BETWEEN, we are committed to attracting the best talent in technology and engineering. With a team of over 1,000 professionals, we take part in high-impact, international projects for top-tier clients across industries such as technology, digital transformation, R&D, and data-driven marketing.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Automation Engineer specialised in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, who will play a key role in designing, delivering, and optimising scalable CRM and marketing automation solutions. You will work closely with marketing, analytics, product, and technology teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, and performance-driven customer communications across global markets.

Main responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain email and SMS automation programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring scalability, reliability, and on-time delivery.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of CRM campaigns, ensuring alignment with business requirements, data availability, compliance standards, and performance goals.
  • Coordinate daily with marketing, analytics, product, and IT teams to manage priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Architect and maintain data extensions, segmentation logic, and automation workflows, ensuring data integrity and long-term platform sustainability.
  • Lead the technical evaluation of campaign feasibility, personalisation logic, contact strategies, and alternative technical solutions when needed.
  • Develop and maintain AMPscript and SSJS libraries, reusable templates, and dynamic content frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce delivery risk.
  • Implement and manage REST and SOAP API integrations for real-time triggers, transactional communications, and data synchronisation.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and permission-based marketing regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL), acting as a technical guardian of CRM governance.
  • Collaborate with QA and delivery teams to define testing, validation, and pre-send quality controls.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as deliverability, engagement, and conversion, driving continuous optimisation initiatives.
  • Act as a technical bridge between internal teams and external CRM vendors or agencies, supporting roadmap evolution and platform improvements.
  • Communicate fluently in English within an international, multi-market environment.

How you will work

  • Hybrid work model within a global and cross-functional setup.
  • Permanent contract from day one.
  • Competitive salary package based on experience.
  • Participation in international projects with high technical and strategic impact.

What we offer at BETWEEN

  • The opportunity to be part of a growing company with national and international presence.
  • A great place to work: we actively promote well-being, work–life balance, and CSR initiatives.
  • You will join a high-performing, specialised team working on complex and meaningful projects.
  • Continuous training and professional development opportunities.
  • At BETWEEN, equal opportunity is a core value. We are committed to hiring the best talent regardless of race, religion, gender, age, or abilities, and to supporting both personal and professional growth.

  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, MobileConnect).
  • Proficient use of AMPscript and SSJS for dynamic content and personalisation logic.
  • Experience designing data models, SQL-based segmentation, and contact strategies.
  • Solid understanding of API-based integrations and CRM data flows.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability fundamentals and performance optimisation.
