Job Description

Job Summary - Salesforce BSA Marketing

We are looking for a high-performing Salesforce Business Analyst to bridge the gap between Marketing/Sales stakeholders and our technical delivery teams. You will lead the discovery and documentation of complex Salesforce enhancements, with a heavy focus on optimizing the Lead-to-Opportunity (L2O) funnel.

The ideal candidate produces documentation—User Stories, Process Maps, and UAT plans—that drive consistent execution across internal teams and global consultant partners.

Core Responsibilities

1. Marketing-to-Sales Process Design (L2O)

Lead Flow Optimization: Define requirements for lead intake, scoring, and automated routing to ensure a seamless transition from Marketing to Sales.

Conversion Mapping: Document the functional logic for converting Leads to Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities, including custom field mapping and validation rules.

Campaign Attribution: Partner with Marketing to ensure Salesforce architecture supports accurate ROI tracking and campaign influence reporting.

2. Requirements Leadership & Documentation

Discovery: Lead workshops to capture business pain points and translate them into Epics and User Stories with rigorous Acceptance Criteria.

Process Mapping: Use Lucidchart to build As-Is and To-Be flows to identify bottlenecks in the sales motion.

Delivery Artifacts: Own the Business Design Documents (BDDs) and ensure a clear Definition of Ready before developers begin a sprint.

3. Functional Support & Collaboration

Technical Liaison: Partner with Salesforce Architects to validate that technical designs (Flows, Apex, Integrations) meet the original business intent.

Agile Execution: Active participation in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.

4. Testing & Adoption

UAT Leadership: Create end-to-end test scenarios, coordinate business sign-off, and manage defect triage.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with 3+ years dedicated to the Salesforce ecosystem.

Domain Expertise: Proven experience in Marketing Operations or Sales Ops, specifically managing lead-to-appointment or lead-to-opportunity workflows.

(Specially- Marketo)

Tools: Expert level in Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart.

Certifications: Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or Administrator is required. Sales Cloud Consultant is a plus.

Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written skills; ability to influence stakeholders in the US (PST) and India (IST).

Agile Fluency: Deep understanding of Scrum methodologies and the ability to manage a groomed backlog.
