Salesforce Lead Software Engineer

As a Salesforce Lead Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership to a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, guiding them through agile delivery models, and ensuring best practices throughout the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex, scalable enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions, utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and declarative tools.

Duties & Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and implementing complex, high-performance, and secure Salesforce solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to effectively translate requirements into scalable technical solutions that align with organizational strategies and deliver measurable value.

Serve as technical expert for both the development team and stakeholders, offering guidance throughout every stage of the development and implementation process to support informed decision-making.

Implement and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.

Lead the development and maintain custom applications, triggers, and components using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Ensure compliance with Salesforce security standards, best practices, and data management.

Oversee end-to-end solution delivery, including data modeling, integration, and deployment.

Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and manage CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies, recommending adoption where appropriate.

Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce functionality and integration issues, ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient system operation.

Mentor and coach mid-level and junior developers on coding standards, best practices, and platform advancements.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOQL, REST/SOAP API integrations.

Strong proficiency in Salesforce configuration (Flows, Process Builder, Custom Objects, Validation Rules).

Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, relationships, and security (roles, profiles, sharing rules).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Proven experience with data modeling, relational databases, and designing scalable enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

Expertise in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and delivering projects using Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.

Experience in Agentforce

Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or generative AI tools into Salesforce workflows.

Fluent in XML-based web services and REST APIs approach with 5+ years of experience.

Proficiency in MS SQL programming, querying, and relational database management systems (RDBMS) with 3+ years of experience.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and use of tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bit Bucket
