Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Lead with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce DevOps practices and strong expertise in Copado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Salesforce release management processes, CI/CD pipelines, environment strategies, and deployment automation to ensure high-quality and efficient Salesforce delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce DevOps processes and release management frameworks.
- Manage end-to-end Salesforce deployments using Copado across multiple environments
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support agile and scalable Salesforce development.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to streamline release cycle.
- Configure and maintain Copado features including user stories, promotion pipelines, automated deployments, version control integration, and compliance controls.
- Manage Salesforce environment strategy, including sandboxes, scratch orgs, and production releases
- Implement Git-based version control best practices and branching strategies.
- Monitor deployment health, troubleshoot release issues, and ensure minimal downtime during production releases
- Establish governance, security, and compliance standards for Salesforce DevOps processes.
- Support automated testing integration and deployment validation activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for deployment efficiency, quality, and release predictability.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership on DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, Release Management, or Salesforce Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Copado DevOps platform.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Metadata API, deployment processes, and environment management.
- Experience with Git repositories and version control system.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automated deployments, and release orchestration.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of Salesforce DX (SFDX) and modern Salesforce development lifecycle practices.
- Familiarity with deployment automation, code quality management, and testing frameworks
- Knowledge of change management and release governance processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket integrations.
- Exposure to Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
- Experience with automated testing tools and Salesforce testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security and compliance best practices.
- Copado certifications are highly preferred.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator.
- Salesforce Platform App Builders
- Salesforce Platform Developers
- Copado Fundamentals or Copado DevOps Certifications
