Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Salesforce Developer with a strong background in building, integrating, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions. In this role, you will work closely with
IT System Analysts,
business stakeholders, and
functional teams to translate business needs into effective Salesforce designs and implementations.
You will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle
from analysis and design to build, test, deployment, and maintenance ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with enterprise standards.
This role offers an opportunity to work across a modern Salesforce ecosystem that includes
Field Service,
Experience Cloud,
Boomi,
Adobe Sign, and integrations with
SAP ERP and other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
- Partner with IT System Analysts and business users to gather, validate, and document detailed requirements.
- Perform fit-gap analyses and provide accurate development effort estimates.
- Support solution workshops and feasibility assessments during requirement definition.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and Experience Cloud.
- Develop using Apex, LWC, and Aura Components, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices.
- Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, including design specifications.
- Implement automations using Flows (preferred), Validation Rules, and Data Loader as required.
Quality & Maintenance
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and debugging for optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, focusing on root-cause analysis and issue prevention.
- Support multiple releases and ensure smooth deployment across environments.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance system functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Promote best practices in coding standards, documentation, and agile development.
- Collaborate with global teams to align on architectural standards and technical strategy.
Areas of Focus
- Strong foundation in requirement analysis, solution design, and coding best practices.
- Hands-on configuration and development across Salesforce core clouds.
- Cross-functional collaboration between IT, product, and business stakeholders.
- Continuous platform enhancement and release enablement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Experience in at least one full Salesforce implementation lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura Components, and standard Salesforce tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Data Loader).
- Strong working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (preferably using Boomi, SOAP, REST, or XML).
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and version-controlled development (e.g., VS Code).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferred).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred / Nice To Have
- Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certification(s).
- Experience with Salesforce Field Service and Experience Cloud.
- Prior experience integrating with SAP ERP.
- Exposure to Boomi and Adobe Sign integrations.
- Experience in Medical Device or Life Sciences domain.
