Job Description
Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer with 45 years of hands-on development experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the Salesforce stack, writing clean and testable Apex code, building user-facing components, and contributing to platform integrations under the guidance of a Solution Architect.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and REST API integrations
Build and enhance Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Implement and maintain Salesforce data models, including custom objects, fields, and relationships
Contribute to API endpoint development and security enforcement within established architectural patterns
Write unit tests and integration tests maintaining Apex code coverage standards (85%)
Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices and org standards
Support deployment activities including change sets, metadata bundles, and sandbox management
Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
Assist in debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution across production and sandbox environments
Required Skills & Experience
4 - 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and the Salesforce object model
Experience building LWC and/or Visualforce components
Familiarity with Salesforce security model — sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and FLS
Experience with REST API development and integration patterns
Working knowledge of JSON handling and data serialisation/deserialisation in Apex
Solid understanding of Salesforce deployment tools and change management processes
Good debugging and problem-solving skills across Apex and UI layers
Ability to write clear technical documentation and unit test coverage
Nice to Have
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
Exposure to Salesforce Metadata API or dynamic form/workflow systems
Experience working within multi-developer teams using version control (Git)
Familiarity with agile/scrum delivery processes
