Job Title: Senior Salesforce Platform Developer

Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions. The role focuses on custom development using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flow Builder, and Aura, with responsibility for secure, scalable, and performant implementations across one or more Salesforce Clouds. You'll partner with architects, business analysts, and cross‑functional teams, mentor developers, and contribute to best practices, frameworks, and re‑usable assets.
Key Responsibilities
1) Solution Design & Development
- Implement LWC (composition, LDS/wire, pub/sub, events, Jest unit tests) and maintain Aura where required.
- Build Apex classes, triggers, batch/queueable/schedulable jobs; design bulkified, governor‑limit‑aware solutions.
- Orchestrate automations using Flow Builder (record‑triggered, screen, subflows, error handling & guardrails).
- Integrate with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Named Credentials, OAuth/SAML).
- Model and query data effectively (SOQL/SOSL, selective queries, indexes).
2) Cloud Implementation (1+ clouds required, more is a plus)
- Sales Cloud: Lead/Opportunity lifecycle, Forecasting, Territory models.
- Service Cloud: Omnichannel, Case/Entitlements, Knowledge; (nice: Field Service basics).
- Experience Cloud: Sites, sharing models, login & identity, branded components.
- Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing): Product/rule modeling, pricing, quote‑to‑cash flows.
- Commerce/Marketing/Data Cloud: Foundational understanding and integration patterns are a plus.
3) Quality, Security & DevOps
- Drive test automation (Apex unit tests with meaningful asserts; target ≥85% coverage for new code).
- Apply static code analysis and quality checks (PMD/SonarQube, ESLint/Prettier for LWC).
- Enforce security and compliance (OWD, roles, profiles/permission sets, FLS, Shield encryption/event monitoring).
- Manage environments and releases using SFDX, Scratch Orgs, Git‑based branching, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Jenkins/DevOps Center).
- Contribute to internal libraries, design patterns, and re‑usable LWCs.
4) Collaboration, Leadership
Partner with Solution/Enterprise Architects to translate requirements into scalable designs.
- Mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and technical walkthroughs.
- Support presales with effort estimation, technical write‑ups, and feasibility assessments when required.
- Produce technical documentation: sequence diagrams, ERDs, deployment runbooks, support guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands‑on Salesforce platform skills for custom development:Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flow Builder, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, metadata & packaging.
- Strong knowledge of platform fundamentals: governor limits, transactions/locking, API limits, caching, async patterns, Platform Events.
- Cloud exposure: At least one of Sales, Service, Experience, Field Service, Revenue (CPQ/Billing), Marketing, Commerce, or Data Cloud.
- Integration proficiency: REST/SOAP, web services patterns, Named Credentials, auth flows (OAuth/SAML/JWT).
- DevOps/SFDX: Git branching, scratch orgs, source‑driven development; CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft skills: Clear communication, stakeholder management, problem solving, peer mentorship.
Preferred/Good‑to‑Have
- Certifications:
- Platform Developer I (required or within 90 days)
- Platform Developer II (preferred)
- JavaScript Developer I (preferred)
- Administrator / App Builder (nice)
- Any Cloud Consultant cert (Sales/Service/Experience/CPQ etc.) is a plus.
- Tooling: VS Code, Code Builder, Jest (LWC), ESLint/Prettier, Salesforce CLI, Postman.
- Patterns: Apex Enterprise Patterns, Domain/Service layers, Selector pattern, façade & factory usage.
- Performance tuning: selective queries, indexed fields, caching strategies, large data volume tactics.
- Data & Security: Shield Platform Encryption, event monitoring, CDC, archival strategies.
- Adjacent tech: MuleSoft basics, Kafka/Queues, AWS/Azure integrations.
