About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong Integration expertise to join a leading Manufacturing client on a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing scalable Salesforce solutions and integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using modern integration technologies and APIs.
This role requires a hands-on developer who can collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and scalable integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Build and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, PLM, SAP, Oracle, middleware platforms, and third-party applications.
- Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services.
- Design API-based integrations using Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Streaming APIs where applicable.
- Work with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Dell Boomi, or similar middleware technologies.
- Develop reusable integration components following enterprise architecture standards.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards and best practices.
- Support deployments using Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare technical documentation for integrations, APIs, and custom developments.
- Provide production support and resolve critical issues within SLA timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Development experience.
- Strong expertise in: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce
- SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, Triggers
- Strong experience developing Salesforce integrations using: REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Bulk API
- Platform Events, Named Credentials, OAuth 2.0
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica Cloud, Jitterbit, or Dell Boomi.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous processing including Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, Future Methods, and Scheduled Apex.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX (SFDX) and deployment best practices.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Required)
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (Preferred)
- Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer (Preferred)
- Experience working in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Industrial Automation environments.
- Exposure to Manufacturing Cloud is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
