We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Developer at Ideagen, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that align with our business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, business development, finance, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and customized solutions. You will work within the systems and data team on all core projects as well as maintaining the existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Salesforce solutions, including configuration, code, and integration, to meet specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient Salesforce designs.
- Design and implement custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and triggers to enhance system functionality.
- Develop and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning web components to extend Salesforce capabilities.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems, APIs, and external databases, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Perform code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize system performance for optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new feat ures, and industry best practices, proactively suggesting system enhancements and improvements.
Skills And Experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer,.
- Salesforce Developer certification Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Platform Developer II are required for this role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and JavaScript is desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and security settings.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model and relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs and web services.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce DevOps practices and processes.
- Experience using VS Code.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with emerging Salesforce technologies and best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
