Job Description

We at AXA GBS are looking for a highly Experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with 7+ years of experience and expertise in Salesforce Implementation. The ideal candidate should have successfully delivered 3-4 Salesforce implementations and possess advanced skills in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud & Financial Service Cloud. Familiarity with insurance domain workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable and robust solutions within the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional teams, including BA's & project managers to understand the requirements and deliver high quality solutions.
  • Customize and extend the FSC data model (Client, Household, Financial Accounts, Goals, Activities, etc.) to meet business requirements.
  • Customize Sales Cloud and FSC platforms to optimize user experience and streamline business processes.
  • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Flows, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to meet complex business Needs.
  • Architect and implement Integration with external systems using REST & SOAP API's, ensuring data consistency and seamless flow of information.
  • Design and manage Asynchronous Apex processes, including Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Schedulable & Future Apex to handle large data volumes efficiently.
  • Utilize CustomMetadata type & Custom Settings for advanced configuration & implementation in Apex classes.
  • Deeply understand Salesforce Order of Execution & its impact on DML operations.
  • Use HTML, CSS & JavaScript to build responsive and User-friendly interfaces within lightning web components ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Implement Pub/Sub models and use Lightning Messaging Service (LMS) for communication between other non-related lightning components ensuring effective state management across the application.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them on best practices in Salesforce development and customizations.
  • Perform code reviews, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues in Salesforce applications.
  • Manage complex deployment strategies, including the use of Salesforce DX and setting up CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications.
  • Stay updated with current Salesforce best practices, new features, new releases, and emerging technologies, and assess their relevance to our business needs.

  • Salesforce Clouds: Financial Service, Sales, Service
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, Salesforce Security model and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of trigger frameworks, trigger handler patterns, Asynchronous Apex & data migration strategies.
  • Strong Communication and teamwork skills with the ability to mentor junior developers.
  • Development: Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Triggers, Flows
  • Integration: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, External Services
  • Certifications: Platform Developer I (PD1), Platform Developer II (PD2), JavaScript Developer I, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant/Service Cloud Consultant.

Complementary Skills Good-to-Have

  • Certifications: Financial Service Consultant, Advanced Administrator, Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architect, Platform Integration Architect
  • Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado), CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, data archiving, and security best practices.
  • Financial services cloud accredited professional certification preferred.
  • Good to have Experience in MuleSoft integration to connect Salesforce with other applications and services.
