Job Title - Salesforce Developer – Ecommerce

Location - Pune Baner ,WFO

Shift time - 3PM IST to 12:00 AM IST, Cab Facility (Pick and Drop)

About The Job:

In an ever-changing and evolving Salesforce.com (SFDC) landscape, WillScot India IT GCC is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of experience and strong expertise in Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and eCommerce integrations. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, customer-facing digital solutions that enhance user experiences and support business growth across B2B and B2C channels. This role requires hands-on development experience on the Salesforce Platform with a deep understanding of Experience Cloud (Communities), Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and eCommerce best practices. The Salesforce Developer will work collaboratively with Salesforce Technical Leads, Business Analysts, UX designers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality, performance, and secure solutions.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and develop functionality using the Salesforce Platform to support Experience Cloud and Commerce Cloud use cases.

• Apply strong software engineering principles using Salesforce technologies including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and unit testing.

• Design and implement Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations to support customer portals, partner portals, and eCommerce storefronts.

• Configure and customize Salesforce Experience Cloud sites including templates, themes, branding, navigation, user access, and sharing models.

• Develop and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions, including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management integrations.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Technical Leads to translate functional requirements into technical designs for digital customer journeys and eCommerce processes.

• Build and optimize Flows, Validation Rules, and other declarative automation to support customer self-service, digital onboarding, and order lifecycle management.

• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems such as payment gateways, ERP, OMS, CMS, and marketing platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.

• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices for performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and maintainability.

• Conduct unit testing, peer code reviews, and assist with QA testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for Experience and Commerce Cloud solutions.

• Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues related to Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and eCommerce integrations.

• Maintain and update technical documentation to ensure effective knowledge transfer and operational readiness.

• Report development status, risks, and issues to the Salesforce Development Manager on a regular basis.

• Assist offshore development teams as needed and contribute to shared development standards.

• Adhere to Data & Technical Governance policies and support data migration, performance tuning, and system optimization initiatives.

• Advocate adoption of CRM, digital, and eCommerce-related tools and identify process or technical improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

• Stay current with Salesforce releases, Experience Cloud enhancements, Commerce Cloud capabilities, and industry best practices, recommending adoption where appropriate.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Qualification:

• Education Level: Bachelor's degree

• Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's degree with IT-related experience

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development

• Strong hands-on experience with Experience Cloud (Communities) and Salesforce Commerce Cloud

• Experience designing and implementing eCommerce solutions on the Salesforce platform

• Relevant Salesforce certifications preferred (Platform Developer I & II, Experience Cloud Consultant, B2C Commerce Developer, or related certifications)

• Demonstrated experience in Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flows • Experience working in an Agile – Scrum framework

• Experience with web services and integrations (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)

• Experience with Salesforce integrations and API development; familiarity with middleware tools is a plus

• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes
