Role : Salesforce Data Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data Engineer with deep expertise in the Salesforce platform and a strong focus on building and operating Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) solutions. The ideal candidate will design, integrate, and maintain scalable, governed data pipelines that support data driven Salesforce experiences, including analytics, automation, and Agent force powered workflows. This role emphasizes reliable data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, and activation within Salesforce D360, including support for zero copy data access patterns where appropriate to enable near real-time insights without unnecessary data duplication. The Salesforce Data Engineer partners closely with Salesforce Developers, Agent force Engineers ,Architects, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high quality, and performant data foundations that power intelligent automation and business decision making
Minimum Years Of Experience
- 4- 6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform data integration.
- 2+ years of hands on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) or comparable enterprise data platforms.
- Demonstrated experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Platform)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and maintain Salesforce D360 solutions, including data ingestion, harmonization,
transformation, identity resolution, calculated insights, and data activation
- Design and operate data pipelines that source from Salesforce core objects and approved external platforms, including support for zerocopy or federated access patterns where applicable
- Enable trusted, governed data activation for downstream Salesforce capabilities, including Agentforce agents, Flows, analytics, and AIassisted workflows
- Partner with Salesforce Developers and Agentforce Engineers to ensure data models and activations align with application, automation, and agent requirements
- Collaborate with Architects to define scalable data architecture patterns, canonical models, governance
standards, and zerocopy strategies within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Monitor data freshness, quality, lineage, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving data pipeline or activation issues
- Support CI/CD and release processes by validating Data Cloud configurations and changes across environments
- Document data models, ingestion approaches, activation patterns, and zerocopy integrations to support operational excellence and onboarding
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Handson experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, include ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, calculated insights, and data activation
- Experience designing and operating enterprise data pipelines, including familiarity with zerocopy or federated data access patterns
- Strong experience with tools such as Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and platform concepts
- Ability to support AI and agent driven use cases by providing trusted, data grounded inputs
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) with external data platforms using zerocopy architectures (e.g.,Snowflake or enterprise data lakes)
- Strong experience with Informatica and Azure Data Factory
- Exposure to Agentforceenabled workflows and AIassisted Salesforce capabilities
- Knowledge of agentic monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques, utilizing AI-powered analytics for proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Salesforce certifications such as Data Cloud Consultant,Administrator, or Platform App Builder
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and privacy controls in enterprise environments
