Salesforce CPQ Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize business processes related to pricing, quoting, product configuration, and contracts using Salesforce CPQ
• Configure Salesforce CPQ functionalities such as product bundles, pricing models, discount rules, quote templates, and approval workflows
• Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and automation tools
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to align CPQ solutions with business goals
• Provide architectural guidance on Salesforce platform ensuring security, performance, and scalability
• Integrate Salesforce CPQ with ERP, billing systems, and third-party apps via APIs and middleware
• Conduct user training, create documentation, and provide post-implementation support
• Keep updated with Salesforce releases and CPQ enhancements, recommending relevant upgrades
• Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ issues efficiently with long-term solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall Salesforce experience with at least 2–3 years in Salesforce CPQ
• Hands-on experience with CPQ, Billing, and Sales Cloud modules
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification highly preferred
• Additional Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Developer) are a plus
• Strong understanding of CPQ processes: configuration, pricing, quoting, discounting, and contract lifecycle
• Proficiency in CPQ configuration including product/price rules, discount schedules, and templates
• Strong development skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Process Builder
• Experience in integrating CPQ with ERP and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs
• Good communication skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Trello

Nice to Have

• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Boomi
