Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Test Engineer - Automation with a strong focus on Salesforce QA using AccelQ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our Salesforce applications through rigorous testing methodologies. This role requires a deep understanding of both functional and automated testing processes, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Utilize AccelQ for automation testing to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Participate in test strategy discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans and test case repositories.
- Provide training and support to junior testers and team members on testing best practices and tools.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in Salesforce QA processes and methodologies.
- Strong experience with AccelQ for test automation.
- Solid understanding of functional testing principles and practices.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with performance testing and security testing.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software testing or Salesforce will be an advantage.
