Requirement:

We are looking for Technical Architect that has good functional and technical knowledge in the Salesforce platform. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the Client's requirements then applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of the solution to design an optimal solution that supports the business process and meets/exceeds functional requirements. This position builds a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leads them to the adoption of the best solution.

Technical & Platform Skills:

  • Deep Commerce Cloud Knowledge: Mastery of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including its core platform capabilities, APIs, and data models.
  • System Architecture & Design: Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance end-to-end e-commerce solutions. This includes creating architecture diagrams, data models, and technical specifications.
  • Integration Expertise: Proficient in designing and implementing integrations with third-party systems such as ERPs (e.g., SAP), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud), PIMs, OMS, and payment gateways. Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data mapping is crucial.
  • Customization & Development: Understanding of SFCC's customization capabilities, including cartridge development, OCAPI/Shop API, and extension points. While not always coding daily, the architect must be able to review code and guide developers effectively.
  • Performance & Scalability: Skills in performance monitoring, bottleneck analysis, caching strategies (CDN, platform-level), and designing for high-traffic events.
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of web security standards, data encryption, access control, and ensuring PCI compliance for payment processing.
  • DevOps & Deployment: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code repositories (e.g., Git), and deployment processes within the SFCC environment.

Business & Strategic Skills

  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand and translate business requirements from various stakeholders (marketing, sales, operations) into technical solutions that drive business value.
  • E-commerce Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the end-to-end e-commerce business processes, from customer acquisition to fulfillment and customer service.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to act as a strategic advisor to clients, guiding them on technology choices and long-term roadmap planning.

Leadership & Communication Skills

  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, from developers to C-level executives.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to lead technical design sessions, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Project Governance: Strong organizational skills to provide technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and make critical design decisions under pressure.
  • Documentation: Meticulous attention to detail in creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation that is clear and useful for development, QA, and support teams.
