Description -
This is a critical role within our organization, requiring a highly skilled individual to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of e-commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of e-commerce business processes, technical architecture, and integrations, as well as strong leadership skills to guide teams in delivering complex e-commerce projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of developers to deliver customized SFCC projects
- Design and develop comprehensive technical architectures that meet both short-term and long-term business objectives
- Act as a hands-on technical lead, actively participating in the development process, including writing code, reviewing code, and debugging complex issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical designs
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, including conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to architectural standards
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Ideally experienced/certified Salesforce B2C commerce cloud
- Any other e-commerce experience beneficial
- Responsive design
- Web technologies (JS & JS libraries, Java, JSON & REST etc)
- Associated capabilities, e.g. content management, SEO optimisation, tagging libraries, CPQ, integrations etc
Experience required:
- Build processes and tools Source control processes & tools
- Server side: Java , NodeJS, JSON and XML processing, DBs (relational and non-relational)
- Client side: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript frameworks (CommonJS, JQuery, REACT/Angular etc)
- Good understanding of web security risks and mitigations (XSS, man-in-the-middle, SQL injection etc)
- Good understanding of integrations patterns and mechanisms (authentication, authorisation, APIs, ETL etc)
