Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Administrator & DevOps Lead to manage and optimize the operational ecosystem of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) platform. This hybrid role blends platform administration, DevOps leadership, and end-to-end release management. The ideal candidate will drive automation, ensure operational excellence, and maintain a secure, high-performing digital commerce environment.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The Job

Salesforce Commerce Cloud Administration

  • Manage Business Manager settings, including site preferences, roles & permissions, jobs, and replication.
  • Support merchandising and content teams with catalog updates, promotions, pricing, and inventory.
  • Maintain SFCC sandbox environments, instances, and allocations.
  • Maintain settings in key third party systems: content delivery network, bot prevention, monitoring tools, analytics, and all other business enablement tools
  • Execute deployments, code replications, and data movement across environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SFCC platform issues in partnership with engineering and support teams.
  • Maintain and evolve documentation for platform configuration, deployment workflows, and governance.
  • Partner with global information security, data privacy, infrastructure & operations on executing standards

DevOps & Release Management

  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines for SFCC and related system deployments.
  • Implement automation to improve deployment velocity, reliability, and quality.
  • Lead platform observability, monitoring, and incident resolution to enhance system stability.
  • Define and enforce DevOps and security best practices for release management.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency and foster a DevOps culture.

Internal & External Contacts

  • Internal: Works closely with business and technology teams, including engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • External: Engages with technology vendors, consultants, and industry partners to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Direct: None
  • Indirect: Provide leadership & guidance to outsourced vendor resources

Budgetary Responsibilities

  • Maintain the environment to minimize budget overflows

Decision Making

  • Leads decision-making on data product development and prioritization in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Recommends technology investments and improvements to enhance data product capabilities.

Resourcefulness/Creativity

  • Ensures technology solutions align with business needs, emphasizing usability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex business and technical challenges.

ENVIRONMENT: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Experience

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience administering Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C).
  • Hands-on experience with Business Manager, jobs, replication, users/roles, and site preferences.
  • Strong knowledge of cartridge architecture and SFCC deployment frameworks.
  • Solid experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Expertise with Git and version control branching strategies.
  • Familiarity with APIs, OCAPI, SCAPI, and SFCC integrations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Education

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required, in any relevant business, liberal arts, STEM, or technology/engineering disciplines

Skills

Skills:

  • SFCC certification (Admin or B2C Developer).
  • Experience in eCommerce or retail technology environments.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging platforms (e.g., Elastic).Cross Functional Coordination - Coordinates input and participation from diverse set of business stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop artifacts to support security, privacy, and other standards
