Job Description
Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned Salesforce Solution Architect with a decade or more of hands-on platform experience to lead and deliver complex, enterprise-grade Salesforce development projects. The ideal candidate brings authoritative technical depth, a strong track record of designing secure and scalable architectures, and the ability to own solutions end-to-end across multi-phase engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions spanning data modelling, API design, authentication/security layers, and UI development
Lead technical discovery, solution design, and effort estimation for complex platform initiatives
Design and enforce robust data security models including field-level scoping, sharing rules, and JWT-based authentication flows
Develop and review Apex services, REST API endpoints, and Visualforce/LWC components with a focus on security and performance
Architect versioned JSON schema layers and metadata-driven mapping frameworks for dynamic data capture and routing
Define and implement Salesforce Metadata API integrations, conditional logic engines, and DML-based response routing
Establish and govern testing strategies targeting high Apex code coverage and end-to-end regression integrity
Own deployment planning, production cutover runbooks, and hypercare stabilisation
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, setting technical standards and conducting code reviews
Communicate complex technical designs clearly to both engineering teams and senior business stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of Salesforce development experience, with significant tenure in Solution Architect or Principal Developer roles
Expert-level proficiency in Apex, SOQL, REST APIs, and the Salesforce security model (sharing rules, FLS, without sharing contexts)
Deep experience designing multi-tenant or multi-business-unit Salesforce architectures with strict data isolation requirements
Extensive work with Salesforce Metadata API for dynamic object and field discovery
Proven ability to architect, refactor, and modernise Visualforce-based UIs and complex form/workflow systems
Expert understanding of JWT authentication patterns and API security enforcement at scale
Strong background in versioned schema design, JSON-based configuration layers, and backward compatibility management
Mature testing practices covering Apex unit tests, integration tests, and UAT coordination
Excellent documentation, estimation, and stakeholder communication skills
