Job Description
The Salesforce AI / Agentforce Developer will design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role focuses on leveraging Agentforce capabilities and Einstein AI to build intelligent, autonomous agents and enhance CRM workflows across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Commerce Clouds. You'll combine strong platform development skills (Apex, LWC, Flows) with cutting-edge agentic AI practices (Prompt Builder, RAG, toxicity detection) to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Solution Design
- Configure Agentforce features for contact center and CRM use cases (Service Console, Omni-Channel, Supervisor Console, Agent Productivity tools).
- Design agentic workflows using Agentforce Activator and pre-built skills tailored to roles/industries.
- Define future-state architecture that incorporates Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, Prompt Store, and Agent Library for reusable AI patterns.
- Configure Sales, Service, Marketing, and Commerce Cloud features (object model, validation rules, security, profiles/permissions, sharing).
- Apply security-by-design for agent operations (data masking/de-masking, toxicity detection, principle of least privilege).

- Development & Customization
- Build Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes/triggers, Visualforce pages, and Flows with high test coverage.
- Optimize code for governor limits, SOQL/SOSL performance, and scalable transaction patterns.
- Use Agentforce for Developers in VS Code and Code Builder, leveraging CodeGen/xGen-Code for text-to-code, code explanation, unit test generation, and AI-assisted debugging.
- Establish reusable component libraries and prompt assets aligned to development standards.
- AI & Advanced Capabilities
- Implement agentic workflows for automation and decision-making across customer, agent, and supervisor journeys.
- Enable Einstein features (Agent Assist, Case Classification, Next Best Action, Predictive Routing) to boost productivity and CX.
- Deliver Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) with governed knowledge sources; design prompt strategies and guardrails.
- Instrument real-time analytics and operational dashboards (Command Center/Service Monitoring) for KPIs and agent performance.
- Integration & Data Management
- Design and implement REST API integrations with external systems; manage OAuth 2.0 and Connected Apps.
- Integrate with CTI/CCaaS platforms (as needed), streaming/event frameworks, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
- Ensure data quality, deduplication, and governance; apply compliance controls (audit logging, event monitoring).
- Use Data Loader/SFDX for data operations; model AI knowledge sources for RAG.
- Governance & Documentation
- Produce BRD/HLD/LLD, sequence/flow diagrams, and security models for Agentforce solutions.
- Document prompt catalogs, agent skills/playbooks, and operational runbooks.
- Conduct design reviews, threat modeling, and compliance checks (GDPR/PCI/HIPAA as applicable).
