Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator/Developer to work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to design, develop, and support Salesforce solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for administering the Salesforce platform, developing custom features, and ensuring optimal system performance and user experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce configuration and development, a strong understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, as well as emerging AI capabilities within Salesforce (Einstein, Agentforce). This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Business Systems.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
- Administer and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud environments, supporting both Classic and Lightning UI
- Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and Sales Cloud security model
- Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce declarative tools
- Ensure functional parity and smooth user experience across Classic and Lightning where required
- Build and optimize Flows and automation, incorporating AI-powered capabilities (Einstein, Agentforce)
- Develop AI-driven Sales Cloud use cases such as recommendations, automation agents, and assisted selling workflows
- Manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Handle source control, CI/CD, and release management using Git-only pipelines (branching, pull requests, deployments)
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and governance
- Manage production support incidents for Sales Cloud, including triage, root cause analysis, resolution, and stakeholder communication
- Act as L2/L3 support for Sales Cloud incidents, service requests, and defects
- Own change requests (CRs) end-to-end: requirement intake, impact analysis, development, testing, and deployment
- Prioritize incidents and changes based on business impact and urgency
- Ensure proper documentation, testing, approvals, and auditability for all changes
- Maintain SLAs and ensure timely resolution of incidents and enhancements
- Partner with sales stakeholders, business analysts, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable Sales Cloud solutions
- Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for both Classic and Lightning users
- Continuously evaluate new Sales Cloud, Einstein, and Agentforce features to drive productivity and adoption
Competencies
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud (Classic & Lightning)
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Strong proficiency in Flow Builder and declarative automation
- Experience with Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce for AI-driven sales automation and insights
- Solid understanding of Git-based CI/CD (mandatory)
- Solid understanding of Sales Cloud data model, security, and sharing architecture
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset; comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications (Requirements)
- Bachelor's (Master's preferred) degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field or equivalent
- 8+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience
- Sales Cloud (Leads, Opportunities, Custom Apps, Reports/Dashboards)
- Supporting both Salesforce Classic and Lightning UI
- Apex & LWC development
- Salesforce configuration and automation
- Git-only CI/CD
- Production support (incident management) and change request delivery
- AI capabilities in Salesforce (Einstein, Agentforce, or similar)
- No travel required
