Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Sales Training Manager. The Sales Training Manager will design, implement, and manage sales training programs to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the sales teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating training modules and materials, and delivering sessions through classroom, on-the-job, and blended learning formats. The role involves coaching sales representatives, conducting role-plays, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement. The Sales Training Manager will collaborate closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with business goals, track training outcomes, and continuously update content based on market and product changes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales Trainings and Training & Development, with experience designing and executing structured sales learning programs.
- Strong skills in Training delivery, including facilitation, presentations, and workshop-based learning for diverse sales teams.
- Excellent Communication capabilities, including clear spoken and written communication and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Demonstrated Coaching experience, with a focus on mentoring, performance feedback, and individual development plans.
- Proven experience in a sales training or sales enablement role, preferably in fintech, financial services, or healthcare domains.
- Strong analytical ability to assess training needs, measure training effectiveness, and use data to refine programs.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; advanced certifications in training or coaching are an advantage.
