Hi, I am hiring a sales trainer for Flipkart Wholesale, Bhopal. This is a contract position and the recruit will be based out of Bhopal. This role requires you to be in office all five days of the week.
About the Role
As a Store Trainer, you are a critical driver of employee capability and performance within the store. You are primarily responsible for delivering, and facilitating a wide range of training programs to ensure all FKW store employees are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and compliant with company standards. Your role is central to successful employee onboarding, functional excellence, and continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Training Delivery & Facilitation
- New Joiner Induction: Conduct comprehensive induction training for all new store joiners, covering essential company policies, the unique FKW culture, and fundamental operational procedures to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Role-Specific Functional Training: Deliver specialized training sessions tailored to various departments and roles, including:
- Receiving Department
- Inventory & Merchandising
- Business Support
- Auditor Department
- Checkout & Cash Office
- Membership & Marketing
- IP (Internal Process/Protection) Department
- Mandatory & Compliance Training: Facilitate mandatory compliance trainings (e.g., Food Safety, New Loyalty Program, etc.) to ensure strict adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Learning & Updates: Provide ongoing training on new products, evolving processes, updated systems (e.g.internal tools), and any relevant technology advancements.
- Blended Learning Approach: Utilize a dynamic mix of learning methodologies, incorporating interactive classroom sessions, practical on-the-job training (OJT), engaging practical exercises, and leveraging digital resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Learning Needs Identification & Content Adaptation
- Needs Assessment: Collaborate closely with Store Managers, Department Heads, and Zonal L&D/HR to identify specific training needs and skill gaps within the store based on performance and operational data.
- Program Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on the effectiveness of existing central training programs and suggest improvements to the central L&D teams.
- Tracking, Assessment & Reporting
- Assessment Management: Administer and oversee assessments (e.g., CDP assessments, functional tests) to formally evaluate learning outcomes and employee proficiency.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all training activities, employee attendance, and completion rates.
- Reporting: Generate and submit regular, insightful training reports to Store Management and L&D/HR, highlighting employee progress, challenges, and areas requiring immediate intervention or support.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Operational Alignment: Work closely with Store Management and HR to strategically plan training schedules and resources, ensuring minimal disruption to critical daily store operations.
- Learning Environment: Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of store staff, fostering an open, encouraging, and supportive learning environment.
- L&D Strategy: Participate actively in L&D meetings and initiatives, contributing store-level insights to the broader learning and development strategy of FKW.
