Position: Sales Trainee

Summary:
We are looking for front-line sales professionals, especially Marketing Development Officers (MDOs) from seed or pesticide companies, who want to transition from marketing to full sales responsibility. The role involves managing your own territory, achieving sales targets, and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and farmers.

Responsibilities:

  • Appoint and manage distributors and retailers in the assigned territory

  • Achieve monthly and seasonal sales targets for seeds and pesticides

  • Conduct product demonstrations, field visits, and farmer meetings

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new channel partners

  • Report market intelligence, competitor activities, and demand forecasts to Head Office

  • Coordinate with the marketing team on promotional and branding activities

Who Can Apply:

  • Graduates or diploma holders interested in a sales career

  • Enthusiastic about agriculture and field work

  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn

  • Ready to travel within assigned regions

Requirements

  • 25 years experience as Marketing Development Officer (MDO) or Field Assistant in seed or pesticide companies

  • Strong local network with A-class distributors and retailers

  • Good knowledge of crops, seasons, and farmer needs

  • Self-motivated, field-oriented, and target-driven

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. Agriculture preferred; relevant agri-input experience accepted

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
