This Position reports to:

Sales Support Manager


Your role and responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering digital solutions primarily for Electrical Assets. The candidate shall support the bids and proposal team in delivering quality bids with proper and effective system design and with technical and commercial bid documents. Position will be based at INOPC at Bangalore for ABB Process Automation Energy Division.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industry division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Experience and knowledge of automation, electrical and digital solutions as applicable to energy industries.

  • Experience of Electrical condition monitoring

  • Experience in electrical assets such as low & medium electrical switch gears, variable speed drives, motors, transformers, electrical relays for LV & MV etc.

  • Designing architecture for condition monitoring of the above electrical assets, OPC UA and Modbus TCP/IP communications,

  • Highly conversant with electrical single line diagrams and symbols, electrical standards etc.

  • Work closely with the ABB Local division's sales team to identify the customer requirements and to propose effective solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with software applications in electrical.

  • Preparing complete cost estimation for the scope of work.

  • Understanding the complete project life cycle including project deliverables is a must.

  • Identify the risks and possible mitigation solution.

Qualifications: BE Tech (Automation/Electrical/Instrumentation)

Experience Required:

Minimum 7-10 years experience in Bids / Engineering /Maintenance/Commissioning of Electrical systems, Energy Management systems and automation systems in domains such as Oil & Gas/ Refineries /Petrochemicals / Power & Water.
