Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Sales Support Engineer/Executive. The responsibilities include providing technical support to customers, managing sales operations, assisting in identifying and addressing customer needs, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The role involves close coordination with clients and internal teams to offer tailored technical solutions to industrial equipment challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries (RFQs) and review technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with principals/OEMs for techno-commercial offers.
  • Prepare and submit quotations in line with company guidelines.
  • Follow up with customers for order conversion.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms (as required).
  • Process sales orders in ERP system.
  • Coordinate with purchase, logistics, and warehouse teams for timely dispatch.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy (PO, Proforma Invoice, Invoice, Delivery Challan, etc.).
  • Track order status and update customers regularly.
  • Handle customer complaints, short supply, or dispatch-related issues.
  • Maintain sales data, enquiry status, and reporting MIS.
  • Support sales team with technical data sheets, catalogues, and product information.

Required Skills

Basic technical knowledge of industrial components

Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.

Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

Good communication skills (written & verbal).

ERP / CRM handling experience will be added advantage

Proficiency in MS Excel & documentation.

Qualifications

Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Industrial Engineering/ Electrical / Electronics (preferred).

14 years of experience in industrial product sales coordination or inside sales.
