Job Title: Sales Specialist
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3+ years in Sales (preferably in the EdTech industry)
Languages Required: Fluent in English and Hindi (mandatory)
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner preferred / 7 days
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate with at least 3 years of experience in the EdTech sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of educational technology products and services, excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi, and a passion for sales. This role involves generating new business, building relationships with clients, and helping to drive sales in a fast-paced, growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and nurturing a potential customer (lead) through various stages of the sales funnel until they are ready to make a purchase or take a desired action. This processinvolves engaging with the lead, addressing their needs, and building a relationship that leads to conversion.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with prospective clients.
Close sales deals by addressing objections and offering customised solutions.
Meet sales quotas and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and forecast future sales.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the EdTech or related industry.
Fluency in both English and Hindi is mandatory.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
Strong understanding of the EdTech market and educational technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to understand customer pain points and provide tailored solutions.
Knowledge of CRM software and sales tools.
A self-starter with a passion for learning and sales.
Computer knowledge with Excel Knowledge is a must
