Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Base Location)

We are seeking an energetic, highly connected, and result-oriented professional to lead business development initiatives and expand our footprint across pharmaceutical colleges, training institutions, consultants, and industry partners throughout India.

Position Summary

The Sales Specialist & Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with pharmaceutical colleges, universities, academic institutions, industry consultants, training organizations, pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and healthcare stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong professional network within the pharmaceutical education ecosystem and demonstrate a proven ability to generate business opportunities, establish partnerships, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across India.

• Build strategic partnerships with pharmacy colleges, universities, research institutes, and training organizations.

• Generate leads and convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.

• Develop institutional collaborations for AI-driven drug discovery training programs.

• Establish partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, biotech firms, and healthcare organizations.

Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with Principals, Directors, Deans, HODs, Placement Officers, and Academic Management Teams.

• Develop and manage relationships with industry consultants and training partners.

• Engage with key decision-makers to create customized training and certification opportunities.

• Act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients.

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Develop sales strategies for training programs, workshops, certifications, and corporate learning initiatives.

• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements.

• Negotiate contracts and partnership arrangements.

Events & Industry Representation

• Represent the organization at national conferences, exhibitions, pharma expos, seminars, and industry events.

• Generate business opportunities through networking activities.

• Coordinate institutional roadshows, awareness programs, and promotional events.

• Build visibility for the organization's AI and drug discovery initiatives.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor industry trends within pharmaceutical education and AI applications in healthcare.

• Track competitor activities and identify emerging opportunities.

• Provide strategic recommendations for market expansion.

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales, Pharma Education, Healthcare Training, or related sectors.

• Strong network within Pharmacy Colleges, Universities, Consultants, and Educational Institutions across India.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to independently manage client acquisition and business growth activities.

• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
