This Position reports to:

Sales Director - North & South India


Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of B&R's next generation technology, machine connectivity, automation & edge, high end motion system & technology software solutions in the southern region/market. The role demands a mix of sales acumen, technical understanding, and customer engagement.

This role is contributing to the Automation Division-B&R in Faridabad, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Meeting customers and partners regularly to generate enquiries and build a solid pipeline in machine automation solutions across the north region/market.

  • Analyzing customer requirements and market trends to create and present techno-commercial offers for motion systems, robotics, drives, connectivity, and software solutions. .

  • Handling negotiations, closing deals, and managing key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and seamless customer engagement.

  • Acting as a brand ambassador and consultant to promote advanced automation, advanced technologies, and future-ready solutions.

  • Participating in exhibitions, seminars, and product demos to showcase knowledge in industrial automation and increase brand visibility.

  • Creating accurate forecasts using CRM tools to enable data-driven decision-making, business growth, and after-sales engagement.

Qualifications for the role:

  • 3-8 years of sales experience in the automation industry (machine automation, motion/controls, robotics, drives, motors).

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electricals, EEC, Instrumentation, or similar disciplines).

  • Demonstrated experience in industrial automation with practical application development experience.

  • Solid background in solution selling and managing complex technical sales cycles, with preference for multinational company exposure.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills - both verbal and written - to engage diverse stakeholders.

  • High professionalism and integrity in customer interactions, with a consultative approach to building long-term partnerships.

  • Fluency in English and with knowledge of at least one regional language preferred.
