Job Title: Sales and Service Engineer

Reports To: Engineering Lead
Role Balance: 80% Sales focus and 20% Technical Service focus
Job Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (80%)
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, propose technical solutions, and support sales conversions.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations to educate and inspire prospective and existing customers.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term relationships to drive future sales.
- Market Presence: Participate in product launches, workshops, and industry events as the technical expert to generate leads.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare demo reports and update CRM tools to track sales progress and customer interactions.
Technical Service & Support (20%)
- Installation & Maintenance: Provide installation, maintenance, and technical support for the full portfolio of medical devices at healthcare centers.
- PCB Repair: Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to ensure rapid recovery of device functionality.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to service calls and deliver both on-site and in-house technical resolutions.
- User Training: Train healthcare staff and end-users on proper equipment handling, care, and basic troubleshooting.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate service reports and stay current with the best repair practices and industry standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Solid hands-on experience in PCB repair and soldering is a mandatory requirement.
- Experience: Previous experience servicing medical equipment is preferred, though freshers with strong PCB skills are welcome.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for conducting demos and training.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel regionally for both sales demonstrations and service activities.
