Industry: Oncology diagnostics and precision medicine marketing for cancer care in India. Sector: Commercialisation of molecular and genomic tests that inform personalised oncology treatment decisions across hospitals, cancer centres and diagnostic laboratories. This is a field-facing role focused on clinical engagement, territory growth and improving patient outcomes through advanced diagnostic solutions.

Primary Title: Territory Sales Manager (Oncology Diagnostics)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Promote advanced oncology diagnostic tests and clinical evidence to medical oncologists, oncology nurses and clinical coordinators across the assigned territory.
  • Drive territory sales growth and consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans using local market analysis, account segmentation and opportunity prioritisation.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with oncologists, hospital decision-makers, pathology labs and diagnostic coordinators.
  • Coordinate logistics and case workflows with hospitals, clinics, patients and internal customer-service teams to ensure smooth sample handling and result delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical affairs, operations, regional managers) to support product launches, clinical education and market expansion while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Skills & QualificationsMust-Have

  • B.Sc. in a life-science discipline (Science degree required)
  • Strong scientific understanding with ability to interpret and communicate clinical study results and economic value propositions
  • Proven consultative selling and key-account management skills in healthcare settings
  • Territory business planning and account-based selling experience
  • Experience engaging oncologists and diagnostic laboratories to drive test adoption
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory; on-site field work

Preferred

  • B.Pharm or M.Pharm; MBA or master's degree is an advantage
  • 2–4 years of direct experience in oncology or diagnostic sales
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and experience with KOL engagement
