Role Overview The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and expanding the market presence of Ayati Devices within the assigned territory. The role involves promoting specialized medical devices, particularly in diabetic foot care and neuropathy, while ensuring high customer engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory Promote and sell Ayati Devices portfolio (e.g., diabetic foot care, neuropathy diagnostics devices) Identify new business opportunities in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers Execute territory sales plans in alignment with company objectives
- Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, diabetologists, podiatrists, and hospital stakeholders Conduct regular customer visits and ensure high engagement levels Provide product demonstrations and clinical education to healthcare professionals Handle customer queries and ensure timely resolution
- Market Development Develop new accounts and expand existing customer base Increase product penetration in key accounts and institutions Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and trends Provide regular feedback to management on market dynamics
- Product Promotion & Training Conduct product demos, workshops, and CMEs (Continuing Medical Education programs) Educate customers on clinical benefits and usage of devices Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and product launches
- Reporting & Compliance Submit daily/weekly sales reports and updates to Area/Regional Manager Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of sales targets Number of new accounts opened Customer retention and engagement levels Product demo conversions Market share growth in assigned territory
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree (Science / Pharmacy / Biomedical / Business preferred) 1–5 years of sales experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare Experience in diabetic care or hospital sales is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies Strong communication and presentation skills Good clinical understanding and ability to explain medical concepts Relationship-building and negotiation skills Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
