Job Description – Executive / Sr. Executive / BDM – Project Cargo Sales
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 2+ Years
Industry: Freight Forwarding & Logistics
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
· Drive sales and achieve individual as well as branch targets for the Project Cargo vertical.
· Identify and acquire new customers while growing business from existing accounts.
· Develop opportunities across domestic & international.
· Ensure timely payment recovery and maintain healthy receivables.
Project Cargo & Pricing
· Handle sales for Project Cargo, Breakbulk, RoRo, ODC, and Heavy Lift shipments.
· Understand customer requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions.
· Prepare competitive quotations and coordinate pricing with shipping lines, vendors, and internal teams.
Operations & Customer Management
· Coordinate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
· Monitor vessel schedules, cut-offs, and special cargo handling requirements.
· Provide timely updates to customers and resolve operational issues.
Reporting & Branch Development
· Support business development initiatives for the Mumbai branch.
· Develop relationships with agents and key stakeholders.
· Submit regular sales, pipeline, and recovery reports to management.
Desired Candidate Profile:
· 2+ years of experience in Project Cargo Sales within Freight Forwarding/Logistics.
· Good knowledge of Breakbulk, RoRo, ODC, Heavy Lift, and Multimodal transportation.
· Strong sales, negotiation, customer management, and communication skills.
