Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Professional role based in Bhubaneswar. The Sales Professional will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, explaining SBI Life's insurance solutions, and recommending suitable products aligned with customer needs and financial goals. Day-to-day activities include meeting clients, conducting needs-based assessments, preparing proposals, and supporting customers throughout the policy lifecycle, including documentation and after-sales service. The role also involves achieving sales targets, maintaining relationships with existing customers, coordinating with internal teams for smooth policy issuance and claim support, and participating in marketing or promotional activities in the assigned territory. The Sales Professional is expected to uphold SBI Life's ethical standards, deliver high-quality customer service, and contribute to the company's growth in the local market.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and relationship management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to explain complex financial products clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Basic financial acumen and understanding of insurance or banking products; prior experience in life insurance or financial services is an advantage.
- Ability to work towards defined targets, manage time effectively, and handle field-based activities within Bhubaneswar and nearby areas.
- Comfort with digital tools and systems used for customer onboarding, policy servicing, and reporting.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; additional certifications in insurance or finance are beneficial.
