Sales & Operations Lead

Full-time | Remote | up to ₹35,000/month + performance incentive.  Chennai based with few warehouse meetings with clients when required.

We're looking for a Sales & Client Concierge to join Fern & Ade and become the person behind our customer conversations — from the first WhatsApp message to the final order.

Fern & Ade is about beautiful furniture for everyday living. Clean lines, beautiful upholstery, serious comfort — pieces that look good and feel even better to live with.

We want the experience of buying from us to feel just as good: personal, helpful, easy and refreshingly straightforward.

You'll take ownership of our incoming sales enquiries across WhatsApp, our website and digital campaigns.

You'll talk to customers about their homes, understand what they're looking for and help them find the right piece.

That could mean recommending a sofa for a new living room, helping someone choose between two loungers, answering questions about dimensions and upholstery, or suggesting three pieces through our Send Your Space service.

You'll:

• Respond quickly to new enquiries
• Understand the customer's space, budget, requirements and timing
• Work with design team to select the products that work best for them
• Share photos, videos, dimensions, fabrics and product details
• Prepare and send quotations with the team
• Follow up estimates consistently and intelligently
• Close straightforward orders
• Spot larger opportunities and bring the Design Team into the conversation when needed
• Look after architect and interior designer enquiries
• Reconnect with previous customers and leads
• Help coordinate the customer journey through to delivery
• Follow up after delivery for reviews, feedback and photos
• Ensure up-to-date inventory in warehouse at all times on zoho and with channel partenrs

And because great sales don't happen without great organisation, you'll own our Zoho sales pipeline too. Every lead recorded. Every quotation tracked. Every follow-up dated. Every opportunity with a clear next step. Nothing forgotten in an inbox.

Do you have 2–4 years experience in furniture, interiors, fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, retail, real estate or another customer-facing business

You don't need to be a furniture expert already. But you should be interested in interiors, have a good eye and enjoy learning about products.

You'll need:

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Great WhatsApp communication
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence talking to customers
• The ability to follow up without being pushy
• An eye for interiors and good design
• Experience working with a CRM/Zoho and keeping things organised
• A natural instinct to take ownership and get things done

And one thing is important: You need to be comfortable asking for the sale.

We're not interested in hard selling. But we are interested in good selling — listening, helping, following up and knowing when it's time to ask, Shall we go ahead

We're a small team, so your work matters. You'll have real responsibility, work closely with the Design team and see the direct connection between the conversations you have and the growth of the business.
