Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Adoni. The Sales Officer will identify and generate leads for home loans, loans against property, and business loans through field visits, local outreach, and referrals. The role involves meeting prospective customers, understanding their financial needs, explaining product features, and guiding them through the application and documentation process. The Sales Officer will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and local influencers to drive business growth. Daily activities include coordinating with internal credit and operations teams, tracking applications, ensuring timely disbursal, and providing after-sales support to deliver a positive customer experience. The role also requires regular reporting on sales performance, market feedback, and competition activity.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Operations and Channel Sales skills to drive business through direct sourcing and local partner networks.
- Proven ability in Customer Service and Communication to build trust, explain products clearly, and handle queries professionally.
- Experience in Lead Generation, including field sourcing, local market activations, and managing referrals.
- Basic understanding of retail lending or financial services; experience in housing finance or NBFCs is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; relevant sales experience in semi-urban or rural markets preferred.
- Comfort working on-site, conducting field visits, and engaging with diverse customer segments in Adoni and nearby areas.
- Ability to meet targets, maintain accurate records, and use basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or loan management systems).
- Self-motivated, ethical, and customer-centric approach, with readiness to work within regulatory and company compliance guidelines.
